Origami Taxidermy

So, here's the deal. I find important things on the internet everyday and I plan to write about them all here. These things are much cooler than the things you find and the way I write about them, you'll feel that even when you visit them and observe them for yourself, you will know deep inside that you will never appreciate or understand them as well as I do.

I will also write in a positive, yet deeply opinionated and slightly condescending way. My optimism and liberalism will be unflagging, and the idea of the existence of an opinion or judgment that may offend others saddens me.

As you read my points of view on the important things I discuss here, you will find that I am fairly pompous and preachy, often devoting far too many words and far too much screen space to events and organizations with extremely limited appeal or societal impact. This will make me seem even edgier and cooler than you will already think I am. Pundits will come to me to shape their thoughts and I will pretend to influence the issues I address.

This is because my opinion is the only one that counts. I will moderate all your comments, if I allow them at all, and probably post none of them. Differing views and opinions are unimportant. My rhetoric will reign supreme and you will come back for more everyday.
